About Me

My blog will consist mostly of book reviews and maybe some other book related stuff! My passion right now is romance, YA, NA, suspense, but who knows what will pop up! Reviews will include the great ones that I fell in love with, the bad ones that I couldn’t finish & the ones I “had” to finish because I was told to “give it a chance”!! These are my opinions & only mine & I will be honest no matter what! I do not mean to offend anyone & certainly feel free to comment or give me feedback, but this is my point of view and who knows, you might even find a good read!

THE MARRIAGE BARGAIN (Marriage to a Billionaire #1) by Jennifer Probst

The Marriage Bargain (Marriage to a Billionaire, #1)

3.5 STARS

A quick, cute story about a handsome, sexy man, named Nicholas Ryan (Nick) and an, of course beautiful & well rounded woman, Alexa MacKenzie.  He was her best friend's brother & tormented her as they grew up together.  He was her first kiss & at 16 years old he broke her heart by laughing at her when she told him she loved him.  Flash forward 10 years & he is a sexy billionaire & she owns a book store where she is struggling to make ends meet & is tortured by her parent's financial issues.  She is desperate to help them so she takes him up on his offer to marry him for one year so that he can become the heir to his father's business in exchange for $150,000.   The "bargain" entails no romantic involvement...a business only proposition.  He does not believe in marriage, family or love.
Undeniable mutual attraction, along with lots of sexual frustration, ends up in them "consummating their marriage" and they of course fall in love.  Sounds simple enough, but with a few twists & turns to keep you interested.
I gave it only 3.5 stars because it's quite cliche & predictable, but I would recommend it if looking for an easy & entertaining read.
