Reviews will include the great ones that I fell in love with, the bad ones that I couldn’t finish & the ones I “had” to finish because I was told to “give it a chance”!! FALLEN TOO FAR by Abbi Glines

Fallen Too Far (Too Far, #1)

I finished this book last night at midnight.  I couldn’t put it down and I wanted to fall in love with it so badly but something just didn't feel right for me.  It had your typical attributes of a story I like to read nowadays.  Tortured man and woman, Blaire and Rush...complicated, forbidden love...sexy, steamy love scenes, holy mackerel!  But I kept waiting for something to surprise and shock me that didn’t happen.  Other than the love scenes which again...HOLY MACKERAL...much of it was predictable for me.  I anticipated Nan’s secret and when it was revealed along with all of the other family secrets that Rush had hidden from Blaire, it just wasn’t right for me.  I think my problem is that I could not get over that they were step-siblings.  I KNOW they aren't RELATED, but it's just weird for me.  All of that being said, I gave this book 4 stars because I do like Abbi Gline's writing style.  Remember, I couldn't put it down!  I don't think I will read the sequel right away, but I will definitely be reading more of Abbi's books.  I do highly recommend this book if you aren't bothered by step-siblings falling in love.   

I know this review seems a bit contradictory, and that's because it is...I loved it but I didn't.  :(
